Hi I am Amy!

I was born and raised in Virginia and have always had a passion to work with animals. From a young age I have had a variety of pets and been responsible for training and taking care of them. I have had everything from squirrels to high drive dogs. My first official job  working with animals was in a local veterinary hospital. In 2018 I began my official dog training career.  I have worked alongside of  Hampton Roads top dog trainers. Learning many different training techniques and methods. I am well versed in basic obedience, advanced off leash obedience, service dog training, detection training, and search and rescue. I also volunteer my time to a local nonprofit that provides cadaver search and rescue assistance to many government entities and local/national law enforcement groups. I started Those Dog Girls in 2022  with a passion to pursue a fulltime career I truly enjoyed. We have a balanced training philosophy  and understand that not all dogs learn the same way, therefore, we strive to find the best training method for your pet. Our goal is to provide a harmonious connection with the owner and dog that results in an enjoyable lifelong happy family. We are proud to uphold a culture cultivated around high integrity, strong ethical morals, complete transparency, compassion, and patience at Those Dog Girls.
